Position Summary
Vector Media is searching for an Operations Manager in Pennsylvania to join our Operations Team. The Operations Manager will report to National Operations Manager. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of our Pennsylvania transit advertising programs, covering Harrisburg, Lancaster, Lebanon, Reading, York, Wilkes-Barre, Williamsport and the surrounding areas. This includes supervising all operations personnel and subcontractors, assigning, scheduling and managing and/or completing the installation and removal of advertising copy, receiving, checking in and storing of materials, collaborating and communicating with internal and external teams, and all other operational activities for this market. This position requires working on nights and weekends as needed.

What You’ll Bring:
  • A positive and collaborative approach
  • Experience in Out-of-Home/Transit Advertising operations or installations (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience managing or directing a team or department (preferred)
  • Effective communication skills and an understanding of how to keep processes moving forward.
  • Open-mindedness for tackling challenges. 
  • Sense of urgency and standard to all day-to-day tasks
  • Proficiency in working in Microsoft Office and/or Google G Suite, especially Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets, and Powerpoint/Slides
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to complete physical tasks including the following: walking, standing, kneeling, lifting (over 50 lbs), working on ladders, scaffolds, speaking, hearing, reading, working with the general public
  • Understanding of the vehicle wrap process, large format printing and street furniture operations is plus!

What You’ll Do:
  • Manage, train, coordinate and support local operations staff and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with department leadership and with sales teams across the organization. 
  • Travel to and from worksites throughout the market.
  • Install, maintain and remove advertising graphics, including but not limited to graphics on buses, bus shelters and stations.
  • Ensure advertising graphics are installed and removed according to company standards.
  • Keep detailed records of all advertising operations including installation and removal of copy.
  • Receive, check in and store advertising materials.
  • Communicate and work with our inventory management team to ensure accurate holds, postings and removals of advertisements.
  • Provided detailed campaign and market updates and reports to various stakeholders.
  • Perform regular audits of all advertising displays and fixtures to identify and coordinate any necessary repairs or actions.
  • Manage and maintain a clean and safe work environment, work sites and vehicles.
  • Create and promote positive team culture.
  • Ensure you and your team are meeting all productivity standards, expectations, and deadlines.
  • Develop strong relationships among your team, across our departments and with our business partners.
  • Work well under pressure, responding with a sense of urgency. 
  • Most importantly, the expectation is to have fun!
